What we are working on
Civic Streets
Westminster City Council's Civic Streets team is working closely with Church Street Neighbourhood Management to develop proposals that will bring about the much needed physical regeneration of the western end of Church Street.
Business development
New traders and retailers will be sought as Church Street grows, and Church Street Neighbourhood Management is working closely with relevant stakeholders such as Westminster City Council's Corporate Property Department and its agents, Knight Frank.
Promotion of Church Street Market
Church Street Market now has its own dedicated website, and this will be used to support the promotion of Church Street to new traders and businesses as well as new visitors. A marketing strategy has been compiled by Church Street Neighbourhood Management.
Speciality markets and events
We are keen to ensure that Church Street builds upon its current offering (a traditional London street market that hosts one of the UK's premier antiques district) and a series of speciality markets and events are being organised for 2009.
