Influencing Westminster housing policy
Over the past few years, we have researched local housing issues and listened to residents' experiences. We have passed on this information to Westminster City Council, and this has influenced various policies.
Local lettings schemes
We have worked with Westminster City Council on two new housing developments in the ward, where it was agreed that new flats would be allocated to existing residents.
Choice Based Lettings DVD
We have produced a DVD (together with Westminster City Council) on the Choice Based Lettings system, and distributed it to all eligible tenants.
Church Street Guide
We supported Housing Options in the development of the Church Street Guide. The latter is a comprehensive local directory of services, which has been distributed to all temporary accommodation households in the ward. It is now available to any resident that requests a copy, and a website is planned for the near future.
